Francisco Cerda joined Larrain y Asociados in 2015. His professional practice focuses mainly on the areas of natural resources, electric law, project development and financing, and commercial law.
He studied law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (LL.B.) and was admitted to practice in 2014. In 2020, he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) at Columbia University, New York (Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar).
During 2020 and 2021 he worked as a foreign associate at Herbert Smith Freehills, New York.Previously he was a member of the Energy group at Carey y Cía Ltda.
Mr Cerda is co-author of the Chilean chapter of the “Global Renewable Energy Guide” (2017 and 2018), published by Cakmak Publishing.
He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.
